My trusted Vaio Flip has developed overnight the following issue.
From switched off, weather on mains or on battery, upon pressing the Power On button or the Assist key, the power on green led lights up, SSD disk led briefly shows, fan starts. After 5 seconds, everything goes off. Then, without no intervention from me, the power on green led lights up again, SSD led briefly shows again, fan starts again. After 5 seconds, everything goes off again. Then the Vaip becomes unresponsive for a minute or so, and the above procedure can be repeated.
I have already changed the button CR2032 battery inside, suspecting a discharge in the four years of its life.
I have also done a power cycle and used the battery off pin button.
Any help is very much appreciated, as this is the only machine I have to conduct work for my patients in need.
