Sony VAIO VPCL13S1E but it will not load Wndows Media Center because of

I have loaded Win 8 on my VPCL13S1E and as a result cannot use my TV Tunere as it needs Windows Media Centre whichthe Sony will not accept. Is there another progam that I can use to be able to access the TV Tuner function?

Why will it not install? What error messages do you get?

It has to be downloaded from the Windows Store and is not free unless you have installed Windows 8 Pro, with which it is free for a limited period.

Yep - done all that but when the win8 add features is run it will not accept the update even though it recognises the product key. From what I can see it is just not compatible with this Sony model

I have the vpcl11m1e and can confirm that WMC installs and runs well. I use network based tuners and the work fine for live TV also.

Did you update your graphics driver?
