Subwoofer near a pc??
i hav recently purchased a labtec speaker system consisting of a subwoofer and two satellite speakers.
the subwoofer is not magnetically shielded. it is about 1metre away from my pc. is this safe????
Im a bit worried that my pc might break down :smileyrolling_eyes:

Properly shielded speakers should be fine.

Properly shieled have no effects (well next to no effects anyway).
But unfortunately, your household and neighbours may still feel the effects of a 5.1 surround system (especially on high volumes)

yep, i have a nice sub but the satellite speakers are a bit tinny and distort at high frequencies. oh well...£64.99 is what u pay for. i have tested by sub and it can emit frequencies as low as 25hz  very low indeed
