Unable to burn CDs/DVDs on R600HMPD

Hi ya,

I am not sure what I did to mess the setting up but now I can't burn CDs or DVDs? Does anyone know where I should start looking for faults or setting amendments?

Hi vuotavita. Welcome to the Forum.

Let`s start with the easiest things first.
Right click on the CD/DVD Drive>Properties>Recording. Make sure Enable Recording on this Drive is ticked.
Then Right click My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager. Check the CD/DVD Drive for "Yellow" errors.

Go to Control Panel >Performance and Maintenance>Admin Tools>Event Viewer. Look here for "Red" errors. If you find any , double click and take note of the Error Number.
