Hi

It's not possible to upgrade the hardware - but there might be new drivers on www.vaio-link.com

Otherwise there are the omega drivers @ omegadrivers.net

Dear,

Kee-lo is right upgrading is not possible for laptop

i have an idea for you
if you have money and want upgrade ur Hardware ... better buy Game console
like me ! i want to wait for xbox 360

if you can wait better buy xbox or ps3
if u cant wait ... its ok buy Xbox or PS2

also i done Splinter Cell : Pandora Tommarow

i want buy XboX for playing Splinter Cell : Chaos Theory

dont waste ur money about upgrading pc ! because nexr year u must upgrade again .. and again and again

Good Luck

Mmmm... I have the same model Vaio. At Crucial they claim I can upgrade the Video card to a new Radeon 256m if you beleive their online Bios scan assessment. So they are bullshitting to make a sale???

They've obviosuly misunderstood that it's a laptop not a desktop...

Yeah KeeLo I think your right because when I made check out other links releated to the scan it said that there were no products available. When I did a scan for Ram upgrade it said I have two slots with modules of DDR SDRAM each of 256m so I needed two sets of 512m to make 1024m but then another related link said that they had no products available because my RAM was RD RAM which they do not supply.......HUH??????

What is your video card? If it's an Nvidia card then you can overclock it by using a utility Nvidia put in all their drivers.

Search using Google for 'coolbits' for more details.

Make sure you have the maximum amount of RAM that can fit inside your computer.

Don't waste your money buying a console for the Splinter Cell series since they need a keyboard and mouse to play at their best.
