Does anybody knows if there is a direct cable connecting to VAIO pocket from one side and USB 2.0 at the other side without the need of the cradle?

their isnt one as the Vaio pocket itself dosent have the ports only the cradle does.

Sony should provide something like what you see on the HD3. It has a clip that you plug into the players port so that you can attach a USB cable to the clip. It's not nice having a bulky cable in your bag. It makes the VP <Profanity removed by moderator> as a portable HDD.
