What is the best way to link up a laptop to the V2S so that I can use the screen for a presentation??? Thanks.
I think i'm going to need a little more info from you Colin, what ports are available on both? The most reliable way would probably be ethernet connections.
I would say a projector, but you're going to need either a VGA port or an S Video out.
Projectors are even easier - I used one today and have only recently come back from showing it to several hundred students!
Some tips for PowerPoint Presentations:
1. Open PowerPoint + the presentation
2. Click Start, Turn Off and press SHIFT whilst clicking Standby or use Fn + F12 as it is on mine anyway to hibernate.
3. At the destination, switch on, login to Windows, and your presentation is ready to go! Plug in the projector and away you go!
EDIT To get the projector to work press Fn+F7 to swich video modes, i recommend using LCD + VGA Out for best results.
This has worked for me today so hopefully it will for you too.
I wish you the best of luck!:smileypraying:
