Not possible - as it's not got the feature of adding/changing daughterboards

Generally speaking you can't change laptop graphic cards.

There are a rare few which put the graphics chip on a daughterboard which you can change but even they aren't worthwhile because the manufacturers don't build new daughterboards with the latest graphics chips on them.

You can run games in a resolution of 800x600 which should allow you to play any of the latest games albeit you may need to turn the detail down.

You can overclock the 6200 very easily and gain an extra 30%-50% speed.

Be careful when overclocking, you can cause damage to the GPU and bring a lot of extra heat to the notebook

so even if, for example, I have ati x600 in my a317 it is not possible to put lets say x800 model?
motherboards are the same in models with x600 & x800. same chipshet, same everything... well I know it will be a bit of a problem to find x800.

No it will not be possible because the chip (x600) is likely to be directly soldered onto the motherboard and not on a seperate card you can take out and swap over.

Even if it were on a seperate card, there is no way Sony would make the part available to the general public. Sony want you to buy a brand new laptop if you want better graphics performance.
