Webcam

I cannot use the built in webcam on skype as webcam 3 starts automatically. You cant run two applications using webcam. Can anyone tell me how to get webcam to  be recognised by skype? thankyou

Some more information would be helpful.

Which Vaio model do you have and does it have a built-in webcam?

Are you using the original Windows operating system?

What is listed in Device Manager under Imaging Devices and are there any unknown devices with a warning triangle?

Have you tried changing the default camera using Skype > Tools > Options > Video Settings? If so what options are available?
