Where can I get a Recovery and DOcumentation Disk

My machine(PCV 246) came without a Vaio Recovery and Documentation disk. I have had to reload WIndowsXP and have lost access to all the pre-installed applications. Does anyone know how I can get a recovery disk and pre-installed s/w sources?

Hi David and welcome to the forum.

I take it that your model is the PCV-RS246? As far as I know this should have come with recovery disks and doesn¿t have a recovery partition. If that is the case then you will have to contact Sony and purchase a set of recovery disks ¿ cost approx. £50.
