Accelerometer stops working

The accelerometer of my x performance stops after some days so auto-rotate and other stuff does not work anymore until I reboot...

Netflix and Snapchat just had an update, 1 hour ago I did a reboot so I will wait what happened next. Keep you updated

Same problem here. Accelerometer stops working constantly. Reboot is only a temporary fix. Reset doesn't help. Oh! And my camera overheats.
Disappointing phone. Never Sony again.

I Also have same on Xparia X performances. Accelerometer and Gyroscope stops couple of minutes after reboot. Multiple reboot done already, and nothing solve the issue. All soft are up to date.

Kindly request Sony to work on that issue as it seems that high qty of users are experiencing the problem.

As per Xperia support center chat done today the phone needs to be shipped to repair center in this case.

Can someone at Sony confirm if a soft update have a chance to fix the problem or we all users experiencing this issue should contact local repair center for phone exchange ?

A quick feedback will be highly appreciated.

It might be very wrong but...

I had this issue once a few days ago. Meanwhile I installed thouse maintenance updates and disabled a bunch of system apps (e.g. ar-effect, lifelog, etc). This was about 5 days ago. I did NOT reboot the last four days and took quite a lot pictures - so far the gyroscope and accelerator still works.

It could post a list of my disabled apps - maybe this is at least a workaround - or I am just lucky for now? I don't know.

Interesting. Yes a list a disabled apps would be a appreciated. I also that lifelog is in the list. A high ranking "suspect" as it use the accelerometer continuously to be able to work as a pedometer.

in my phone lifelog was disabled more than one month ago, so it is not a reason I think
