Accelerometer stops working

The accelerometer of my x performance stops after some days so auto-rotate and other stuff does not work anymore until I reboot...

Hi,
I also had this problem of Accelerometer and gyroscope of my phone xperia X performance, but i saw in this thread one user who mention that the problem began with the last system update (memory app v 1.1.A.0.1), so yesterday morning ionly uninstalled the last memory app update then reboot (without disabling any other system or user app).
And now passed more than 29 hours without any problems in my Accelerometer and gyroscope, and i will provide any details here that will happen after.

Quick update.

My accelerometer still failed after 18 hours.

Below solution works so far after five days's trial. No functions and apps need to be disabled.

You should remember your google account and password before going.

(1) go to Settings - Apps - Google Apps, press Disable, this will unstall Google Apps from your phone, and no need to install factory version.
(2) go to Settings - Account & sync, press Google and click right-top corner to open menu, press Remove account.
(3) Restart your phone.
(4) Enter Google play store, you will be requested to login your Google account. Do it.
(5) Search Google Apps in Google play and install up-to-date version of this App, then open/enable Google Apps. Done.

I do have the same problem with my x performance, issues started after the last update 35.0.A.1.275. Accelerometer stops working after a few hours after I reboot my phone. Don't know what's causing it but like I said, it all started after I installed the last update 😛

When I tap on DIsable (Google Apps) it uninstalls update to previous version, not fully unistall Google apps.

Is ok?

Can confirm that rollback Maintenance Update (1.1.A.0.1) is not solution - Accelerometer stoped in 22h.

I share with you my today experience:

"normally" within one hour of use I was facing following issues:

- disappereance of the small picture user (when you scroll down 2 times the home screen, on the upper right position)

- failure of accelerometer

- failure of gyroscope

- failure of light sensor for the automatic display brightness.

I have tried many thinghs and I have uninstalled apps without success.

Today I have terminated the app Whatsnew and everything was ok for several hours.

Then, playng with the settings I had again the failure, however somehow I had reactivated Whatsnew, that is why (I believe) the failure occurred again.

Definitively, Whatsnew has something to do with it but, because somebody here tried by uninstalling several apps and leaving Whatsnew on, I think that the influence of Whatsnew is depending from the complexity of the apps configuration (i.e. Brand new phone, no additional app, should be ok ....phone with several apps installed + Whatsnew on = failure ....phone with several apps installed + Whatsnew off = ok, no failure)

Hi,
Same issue for me. Build 275. No gyro or accelerometer response. Sometime, reboot fix it for a while but the problem come back. That is such a big problem for three premium phone of a brand. I hope it will be fixed soon.

This issue seems that after certain time or trigered by something, the system stoping providing power to all/some sensors.

Is it possible that this is due to stamina mode?

I bought Xperia X Perfomance in Thailand last week and I have same problem too.
