Accelerometer stops working

The accelerometer of my x performance stops after some days so auto-rotate and other stuff does not work anymore until I reboot...

Just over 24hr after uninstalling the system update (memory 1.1.A.0.1), it happened again.

I was just starting to think it was fine, since it was working fine 5mins ago. And now I wanted to post an update and I take the phone and it's again the same issue. No more rotation

I was kinda thinking it would since the issue for me is already occuring since before that update. I noticed it for the first time beginning of September.

OK, so unistalling the latest update, factory reset, etc don't work.

The only hope seems to be disabling (not uninstalling uptate) "what's new", which no one has been able to do after Android 6.0.1.

It's okay. Just follow my steps to update to newest version after reboot.

Did like you said.. Issue still here, but now it takes about 30 minutes instead of 20 hours. So, looks like it really depends on Google services somehow.

Yes, it did depend on Google service, just follow my steps (see my post on this thread) to disable Google Apps ❨this one controls Google service?) and then reinstall/enable Google Apps (newest version is okay). Everything will work fine, at least my phone is normal since 7days ago, and it works on my friends without exception. Good luck.

Hi Joima, 

No, there is a way to de-activate the app, in the sense that it is not active anymore (until you restart the phone, then it will be active automatically and you need to de-activate again).

The deactivation here: 

settings/apps/What'sNew --> click on button upper right (Terminate or Stop ...I am translating from Italian so not sure whether you will se the same)..

You mean App Google ...not all the Google Apps ...right?

Yes, just one app only, named Google App on the settings-Apps

I found that I was wrongly typed Google App as Google Apps.

Double confirm, on Setting - Apps, it is "Google App
" on All Apps list, and on screen it just shows "Google" below icon.
