Accelerometer stops working

The accelerometer of my x performance stops after some days so auto-rotate and other stuff does not work anymore until I reboot...

I tried many app on the store neither can make the accelerometer works again, still needs to reboot the device... Which app do you use? Do you actually have this kind of problem too? Maybe yours is different with our problem..

Same problem here in israel with XP

Accelerometer sensor will stops working in sometime after I put it in my pocket and move like walking, driving a car or riding a bike to other place and it will return to working again after reboot.

My wife has the same phone but has never experienced this problem. Then I read that maybe the Google Now app was a source of the problem. We started Google Now on my wife's phone for the first time and after an hour she had the same problem. Now we have disabled Google Now on both of our phones and will see what happens

From my searches and experiences with this issue (having had my phone for all of 4 days), it appears to be a Android 6.0.1 related problem. Not necessarily related to Sony specific software. Samsung Android 6.0.1 update earlier this month also having accelerometer issues.

Also, The accelerometer stops sporadically after reboot no telling how long til failure. Sometimes stops immediately, sometimes hours.

Safe mood reboot also doesn't solve problem.
Ergo, could be problem from Google, pre-Sony. Await next update or for Android 7?

I just deleted a game I had installed and now the auto rotate seems to be working fine, I'll see how it goes, also I stopped Google now like a previous post suggested as I don't think I started Google now whilst everything was fine. I've had the phone for 3 months and it's all worked fine until last wk when I had an update. Let's just see how it goes

The best was to stop Google now is settings, apps, Google app, storage, manage space, clear all data and Google search data. But then not to open Google app, or if you do then don't agree to Google now. Needs a fix for this though. We should be able to use Google now

Latest update. After a couple of hours with rotation working flawless it suddenly just stopped. And I have NOT used Google Now since I disabled it. This is really annoying especially when using the camera.

Hope we get a fix for this really soon.
If it's a hardware problem Sony is in big trouble since it seems that this affect a lot of people

Hi Everyone, I have tried to reinstall the firmware via PC with Xperia companion and reinstall all the apps yesterday. Until now my F8132 is working fine without sensor problem. Would further update again probably few days after.
