Accelerometer stops working

The accelerometer of my x performance stops after some days so auto-rotate and other stuff does not work anymore until I reboot...

I think Google Now have some bugs on Android 6.0.1 because Nexus 6P and Galaxy S6 Edge have same problem too.

I found this bug on Nexus 6P forums and I try to do in my Xperia

Settings > Google > Search & Now > Voice > "OK Google" Detection > From the Google Search app and turn it off

Settings > Google > Search & Now > Now Cards and turn off Show Cards

Settings > Location > Google Location History and turn it off

Restart 1 time.

It work!

I don't think it's location related. Become accelerometer stops working even when phone is just lying on table.

At first I did not think so too.

But I try to follow the instructions on Google Nexus forums and it worked for me

I recommend you try to do it. If not work, you can undo settings.

Glad to know Sony would release a update shortly to resolve the problem and can't wait to get it as it is really inconvenience especially when watching movie and photo taking.

Thank you very much for the info Richard. My X Performance is the F8132, currently on build 35.0.A.1.275.
I hope the fix comes my way before too long, although I will be patient if necessary.

I uninstalled my Google-account and reinstalled it and the problems seems to be solved. (4 days of working now)

I'm having same problem and the recent update only few Mb did nothing to fix it, if anything happens again 15 mins after reboot. Did the software repair and everything too. Still same problem. Bought this phone and ready to pop the sim back into my BlackBerry!
