The accelerometer of my x performance stops after some days so auto-rotate and other stuff does not work anymore until I reboot...

I don't think that returning the phone is the solution, because if indeed this is a Software issue any new phone that they give you will have the same issue sooner or later. I would require to Sony to release a Software patch or an update that solves this issue for everybody here as soon as possible.
By the way, I have disabled the AR effect and also I unninstalled the What's new updates (due to I can't disable it), let's see what happens.
Yep I have this issue too.
running 35.0.a.1.275
I have the same problem with the accelerometer. Screen stops rotating after a while.
As i am still on 35.0.A.1.238 and never installed system update just the apps were updated i think one of the apps is causing the problem.
I can not disable the whats new as well.
Hello Norberto, could you share with us the non factory apps that you have installed since you bought the phone please?
Perhaps we could identify the apps we have in common and find the cause.
Jeshua
As I remember this issue exists after factory reset, so I think non factory app is not a reason.
I agree. I don't think any non factory app is causing this.
It should be one of the system apps.
I do not want to do a factory restore but what if fqctory restore and do not update any apps?
Is there any problem?
We have just seen some of the guys have factory restored.
System apps were not mentioned after restore.
We are having different sw versions and my phone was ok until last week or so since middle of august.
Thats why i think one of the system apps updated version is causing the problem.
Upon reflection, I think that the most probable cause is that our Sony X Performance phones (and many more) are carrying with this issue since the factory software package, and Sony hasn't corrected it with the latest Software updates.
There is another possibility (and I hope that I'm wrong), which is that the accelerometer and/or the gyroscope sensors are defective and/or have quality issues. This would be harder to solve because it would suppose to give back our phones and get new ones from Sony, which sounds hard to believe, and even so, we would need to get new phones from a new Sony's batch of production, with a new one sensors supplier, in order to be sure that the issue don't appears again.
Finally I believe that we will be sure of the cause when Sony release a new special software patch that solves this issue, if this doesn't work, we will be sure that this is a hardware issue.
So let's find a way that Sony hear us and releases this software patch as soon as possible!
