Dear Sirs,
I activate the do not distrub mode, after the time is out, it switches the mode to disabled as I observe from the screen. BUT it is not!! and I can not "really" switch it out of this mode unless I restart the phone.
I own an Xperia X, F5121 with Android 7.0

Eyüp
Hi @edokkir,
I'm sorry to hear about that, I understand that has to be frustrating.
Are you using an automatic rule to enter do not disturb mode or are you doing it directly from the quick settings menu and choosing for example, that it should end in 2 hours?
When for example 2 hours have passed and it should end the do not disturb mode. Are you still able to see the icon in the status bar of your phone that the phone is in do not disturb mode or does it disappear?
If it disappears, are you able to raise the volume with the volume up button that @Viridis suggested, or if you go to Settings > Sound and raise the volumes in this menu, or are they greyed out?
Let us know how it went!
Hi Jonas,
No automatic rule. Manual selection.
After the time period, the icon disappears.
I am able to raise the volume up/down, no grey out.
For sure: No ring sound.
Addition:
I can hear the lock phone sound, but not the unlock phone sound. The instance before there was also no lock phone sound. There is the keyboard touch sounds.

Eyüp
Thanks a lot for the update and the great information, really appreciated.
I would recommend that you reboot your phone in safe mode and while in safe mode, activate do not disturb again, choose that it should end after for example, 10 minutes.
See if you are able to hear all the sounds when do not disturb has ended.
Let me know how it goes!
Hi,
Before that I got suspicious about an application which controls the sound options and turned "off" the option in notifications section (of that application): "Interrupts Priority only". This solved my problem.
Thanks,
Eyüp
Testing "do not disturb" mode in a safe mode restarted session resulted successfully.
I re-installed the app that interacts with sound options, seems to be fine now.
Thanks,
Eyup
