Bluetooth commands problem.

Hello.

I am facing a very disturbing problem. I have a brand new Sony Xperia X Performance dual sim and the bluetooth Sony MDR-1000X Headset. Everything was fine until a few days ago.

When I connect the headset, default system mutimedia volume is not applied, and no multimedia command done on the headset is handled by the phone : next/previous track, play/pause volume up/down. Music and sound is still sent to the device properly, I can phone, and even accept calls via tactile headset command.

I found a turnaroud : if the headset is on, and I reboot the phone, the device declares itself connected very early on the phone reboot process (before I enter pin codes). And this is the only way I found to get all remote fonctions to work properly. When I disconnect/reconnect the headset, either by turning off and on bluetooth on the phone or the headset itself, problem appears immediatly. There is no need to say I won't reboot my phone each time I want to listen to music.

I tried a lot of things, even safe mode : no differences.

I tested the same headset on my previous phone, everything works fine.

It is very frustrating to have some quite high-end product basic features not working properly.

Any help will be appreciated, thanks !

Ok, thanks for nothing Xperia Care Support forum. Received a new firmware, now build 39.2.A.0.417 and everything seems to be working as expected again. Kudos to the guys working on firmwares, shame on communication and front office for hiding problems, ignoring some and making people think they are the source of the problem they are trying to solve.

Hello Xperia "Care".

I waited a full week, anxiously waiting for answers. On the "bright" side, this allowed me to take the time to check the other Xperia X serie boards and it looks like there are some troubles with bluetooth and Android 7 Sony phones.

Xperia XZ : http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-XZ/Bluetooth-issue-after-update-Nougat-Android-7-0/td-p/1183356...

Xperia X compact : http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-X-Compact/X-Compact-bluetooth-disables-enables-while-listening-... & http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-X-Compact/Android-7-0-Bluetooth-and-car-radio-issues/m-p/119431...

Xperia X : http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/Xperia-X/Bluetooth-prolem-after-Nougat-update/td-p/1188781/page/2 (message #15 is interesting)

So, besides useless advices regarding companion software repairs and safe mode, is there anyone at sony really looking forward to help people ?
