Having moved to Android from iOS I've noticed lots of features that I miss.
However the main bug is Facebook is constantly running in the background draining my data even though I've said no background data and turned off all notifications it carries on putting notification icons in the corner of the app and happily draining my data, the same with lifelog. How do I stop this because I've switched all the settings off!
I don't want to completely remove the app from my device as I do occasionally use it, on WiFi but I don't want it as a data drain.
To show you how bad it is on my data with barely any use from my part:
My data usage on iOS device per month: max 1.1GB out of 2GB - if heavily using snap chat.
My data usage on Android over my limit every month and I no longer use snap chat. All my data is going to Facebook, even on the data usage tracker.
Fix the glitch or come up with a solution.
Hi @Amumac, welcome to the community.
Facebook is a third party application and Sony Mobile have no input into its development or control over its functionality.
For assistance with Facebook or any other third party application I recommend you contact the developers for assistance.
If you do not use Lifelog, I recommend you disable it. You can do this under Settings > Apps > Lifelog.

Well, this will be true, if Facebook is not made a System App in Xperia X. Making it a System App that we can't uninstall, basically means that Sony Mobile does have some control over its functionality!
