Hi @Andre9,

There is not a dedicated pre-installed voice recorder app on your Xperia X Compact. You can however record voice messages in the messaging app. To do so open the messaging app and select a message, then, tap the microphone icon to record the message.

If you want a voice recorder app I recommend downloading Audio Recorder from Google Play Store. It's made by Sony and can record high quality audio.

Thanks, would have preferred not to install yet another app, but it works well and easy, simple to use user interface. Ideal for taking notes while driving.

@Emil, this app should be installed on the phone "out of the box", this is a basic feature. Please forward this to some upper level to make them include it.
