Hi I have recently purchased the Xperia x. I am having problems where the music on all apps stops playing and I have to reconnect the headphones before it will continue playing. This is on all apps and the headphones are fine on my other devices. thankyou in advance

I'm sorry to hear about this.
Just to make sure that a third party application isn't the cause of this, could you try rebooting your phone in safe mode and play a video in the YouTube application and see if the music stops playing and you need to reconnect your headphones again while third party applications aren't loaded?
I would also like to confirm, this does not occur when you are listening to music through the speaker in your phone, is that correct?

Hi sorry for the delay. yes this is on all apps and it does also do it in safe mode. I haven't tried through just the phone speakers only through the headphones. Thankyou

Hi. I have done a few tries with the phones loudspeaker but it seems to be ok with the phones speaker the only issue is with headphones thanks.

I apologize for the late reply, I have been on a short vacation!
If this occurs with different headphones, I'd recommend that you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. This will delete all data stored on the internal storage, so creating a backup using Xperia Companion before you start with the repair is recommended!
