Nougat upgrade lowered cpuclock??!

I'm willing to buy the X Compact in a couple of days, but I saw something interesting online. Can someone look into this? A Sony representative especially.

"So I upgraded my X compact to official Nougat 7.0 a couple of days back and on first impressions I noticed some lag here and there mostly when scrolling
And I knew that Snapdragon 650 is almost clos to SD810 so what could be the problem because it was awesomely fluid and smooth on MM 6.0.1, so I started to dig up and here's what I noticed:

In CPUz app on MM it shows Qualcomm SD 650 @ 1.8 GHz but today I looked it up and in Nougat it shows Qualcomm SD 650 @ 1.4 GHz!!! And if you look at cpu cores, those 2 last core Cpu4 and cpu5 are stopped (i guess those two are A72@1.8GHz cores right?)
So conclusion is that A72 cores which are the main core to maintain smoothness are offline for some reason so Im asking developers to dig this up and help us out
Thank you"

They are not disabled at the boot but it sure happens after I let the screen off

Seeing this with cpu-Z and some cpu stress app

Didn't know if I was allowed to post external links.

Here is the link. A lot of people complaining about it:

Tbh, I can't see a lot of people complaining about it, I see two people contradicting the majority that are showing faster results from nougat
Some even bring up the possibility of the app miss reading an idle flag as DISABLED.

Even though, they find it faster (posibility of Placebo), there's no deny that the last 2 cores are off while analysing it. I don't think there's a problem to ask, check about it.

The thread is pretty active taking into account that it was opened yesterday, not many people upgraded to Nougat and not many know about the technical stuff.

I asked here just to clarify it.

Test it some times, these A72 core's stop happened after the screen was shut off one time even if it just a short time. Before this they seems to never going at more than 1200MHz after the phone have totally boot

However for example in antuntu, I could see that there was some purcentage behind these apparently shutted core.

I don't have a bad experience of lag while I'm not scrolling at full speed in an app which wasn't already open.
That's was my little night test, hope the issue or just misunderstanding will be cleared soon.

Hey guys, Im the OP in xda thread
Look I paid 450$ for a 100% smooth phone not even 95% and it was actually like that on MM but not on Nougat, So I know that those lags that I see are not big and maybe you wont even see them but they are happening
Today I tried rebooting the phone and yeah after reboot and before screen off CPUz shows those cores working but those lags in heavy games and some apps that I see are still present, Soo maybe its just that Nougat is not completly optimized for SD650, right?!
