Pre installed apps

Is it normal to have pre installed Tetris, 2048, spiderman? Cause mi antivirus detect them as malware, and I can't erase them from my phone

If they are present after a reset, then they are pre-installed for your specific software customisation. I'm afraid that I can't provide you with more details as these are not pre-installed in the market which I operate in (the Nordic one), so I recommend that you get in touch with your Local support for more information.

Hi @Juanma21, it's hard to tell if they are pre-installed or not, as this may vary heavily depending on device customisation, which in turn varies depending on carrier and market. As an example, what is pre-installed for your carrier and market may be completely different from what my customisation in Sweden has pre-installed.

When you describe that you are unable to uninstall them, and that you did not install them, it does have the characteristics of a pre-installed app. My recommendation is that you get in touch with your Local support to see if they know more regarding those specific apps for your local customisations.

An alternative would be to factory reset your device and see if they are still there, but I advice that you first backup all your current data as they'll be deleted when you do so. In order to reset the device, go to Settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset. In the same menu you may also choose to backup the device under the same menu here by choosing More > Manual backup.

Let me know how it went! Slightly_smiling_Face

@Juanma21 it happened with both my phones coming from the Latin American market to have such games installed but it was always possible to remove them, only few operators won't allow you to remove them (and I am not sure why) for example Telcel in Mexico.

For the peace of mind, do what @Emir is advising. Start contacting first your carrier, then drop a line or do a phone call to your Local Support.

I reset my phone and the apps are still there. And are detected as malware.
