I used to be able to select the headphones in my settings, since the update I can't??
I have downloaded the latest update and noticed the sound levels have dropped significantly over my headphones.
Really frustrating.
try to check and toggle your sound settings again.,
clear music app cache,
settings>app>show system>clear data restart your device
try to listen while you are on safe mode
lastly you can try to perform a software repair using Xperia Companion
