USB to Ethernet on Xperia X Compact?

I tried connecting my Xperia X Compact to the following Ethernet/LAN adapters:

• USB C to Ethernet (EC Technology USB 3.1 Type C zu RJ45 10/100/1000)
• USB C to USB A 3.0 OTG (ivoler) to to Ethernet (CSL)

but I get no IP and no Internet connection.

Should I adjust a software setting or get a specific hardware adapter to make it work?

Hi, unfortunately the X series does not support USB Ethernet, only Z2-Z5 supports this feature.

On X series USB storage, audio, hub and HID are supported, but not ethernet.
