USA compatible XA2 Ultra

Hey guys, I'm planning on buying a sim in the USA while I'm there but I don't want to buy a phone, I've a Sony xperia XA2 ultra with dual sim of course but the question is because my phone is EU can I use an USA sim in it or isn't that possible

Hi @Josvb, welcome to our forum!

You may want to check this with the operator in the US that you plan to buy the SIM card from, as sometimes the specific device model needs to be activated in their network, other wise it won't get a network connection. In the US things are a bit different from here in Europe since we have the roaming deals which makes it so you can use your normal SIM in other countries without any extra fees.

Below you can find the supported bands for the Xperia XA2 Ultra Dual SIM (H4213), in case the operator asks which bands your device supports.

• UMTS HSPA+ 850 (Band V), 900 (Band VIII), 1900 (Band II), 2100 (Band I) MHz
• GSM GPRS/EDGE 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz
• LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20, 38)
