Cannot restore contacts using PC Companion

Hi all

I had taken a backup of all the contactcs before upgrading to 4.3

After upgrading to 4.3 at some point  I deleted my contacts intentionaly. Now when i try to restore the contacts through PC companion it says successful and asks me to restart the phone. But no contacts are coming up on restart.

I have many backup copies. none are working though pc companion says successful. Please help

Hi,

I had this problem.

It tryed many hours to restore using backup & restore option in Sony PC Companion. I does not restore Contacts.

But good news, "Contact Setup"  or "Xperai Transfer" restores all contacts successfully.

Hi,

By doing sync with google accnt i can able to rstore the contacts which has oly emailids and no number in it. is there any other way to recover?
