Good day.
I have a problem on my Sony z Ultra. It can not make a wireless wi-fi connection with my PC. A few times i have connected my phone with PC wireless, but then it seem to be that I have something spoiled. Now PC tell me that "it isn't possible to coordinate device parameters with this system"
What can I do in this situation?
Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.
Have you set up the connection between the phone and PC with PC Companion? If not, you should do that. Open PC Companion and click on "how to connect".
Hey guys
Have you read what the gentlemen above wrote?
wireless media transfer doesn't work....not usb cable connection does not work.!!!
I have the same problem.
Can you please help me with it?
Win7Pro64bit, Sony Experia Z1 compact
I follow all the steps as given by the phone, it even says, the devices are paired
but when I want the devices to connect, it just hangs and then gives me message
"It isn't possible to connect to [yourpc]"
Can you please give me some troubleshooting steps?
What to check, where to look, how it works, links, articles, anything? please
Thank you
Hugo
I also have the same issue. I can't connect my Xperia Z Ultra to wirelessly transfer files to my computer.

Try to install the "Media Go" software from PC Companion before trying to pair the phone wirelessly. (apparently Media Go installs some libraries that are needed for this connection)
After Media Go has finished installing, without the phone connected via USB, click "How to connect" in Sony PC Companion and select "via Wi-Fi". After that follow the on-screen instructions and you should be ok.
I'd like to mention that I also had the freezing problem when trying to pair the phone wirelessly, now it works like a charm.
Hope my solution helps.
so its basically windows firewall that blocks it, so easiest way to fix it is
Start button > control panel > system and security > windows firewall > turn firewall off on both private and public networks > then setup connection or pairing of phone as normal. you can then re enable firewall on both private and public networks.
when you restart your pc it may well prevent automatic connection so i added the firewall to the taskbar so i can quicky switch it off connect and then switch back on once connected. its bit clunky but its a fair work around until windows 10 and well it stops it automatically pairing when i dont need it, so i kinda prefer things that way
After pairing was successfully established, I can't connect to PC. In USB Connectivity/Wireless Media Transfer I push on my pc-name and the phone then tries to connect for 1-2 minutes but after all it shows couldn't connect to <pc-name>. I've already tried to disable firewall, checked uPnP on pc and router, allowed Wireless Portable Devices in firewall for both private and public networks... Any help is apreciated.
Same issue here.
Guess nobody cares...
