Invalid IMEI number

Hello,

2days ago, I bought a xperia Z ultra. When registering the product for warranty, the imei number couldn't go through and was stated invalid. Please advice. Contact Sony but yet to get a reply. Is it very important for me to fix the imei number? The phone is working perfectly fine. Thank you!

Are you sure you inserted it correctly?Have you tried xperia care?

Yupp... I tried it for more than 5 times, trying out with all sorts of way to get the imei number and it all showed the same imei... I checked and made sure I key correctly... I tried xperia care but yet to get a reply!

You will.You could also try contacting one of the sony support members providing them your IMEI.

I'd run your IMEI number through a site like this here - This way you will know if the number matches the handset it was released for
