Xperia Z2 Camera Button Issue..

Hello Everybody.. I've Been Searching The Whole Google For This Issue But Couldn't Find It.. So I Decided To Ask Here For This Problem...

My Xperia Z2 Was Working Perfectly Fine From Last Two Months Even On Lollipop.. No Issues At All Until This Morning..
In The Morning I Tried Taking Some Pics Using My Camera Button But Doesn't Work.. The Camera App Doesn't Turn On.. And As I Manually Turn It On And Try Capturing A Photo Nothing Happened Although It Does Focus But Doesn't Capture..

Plz Guys Help Me.. And Also I'm Not In Warranty..
Any Help Is Really Appreciated..

Try Setting - Apps and swipe to All then locate and open Camera and then tap on Clear data and clear cache then reboot and test

settings > apps > all > camera > clear data > restart the phone

open the camera > settings > quick launch

You could also try performing a system repair using PC Companion as this will often fix issues - This will factory reset your phone and erase all data so best to backup before you begin

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the on screen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process

If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Contact your local Xperia care and request a vacuum test

If a system repair fails then I'm sorry to hear this but you would need to either return your device to the place of purchase or contact Xperia care and have your device inspected http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/

Not sure what you mean by water ie:water damage etc

Well Vacuum Test Means Checking Whether My Phone Is Still Water Proof Right?? If So Cause My Phone Is Still Water Proof As Ive Washed It Around 4-5 Hours Ago..

And Thomo My Country Isn't Listed In The Contact Us List..

When did this issue started? was it after you exposed the phone to water?
