Mobile data has run out

Hi, guys I dont know if anyone of you is experiencing this problem but after the android oreo update I am unable to use my mobile data I keep on getting a notification saying mobile data has run out even though I haven't exceeded the limit of my mobile data. I have also tried turning off the data usage warning but that did not help :'( . Is there a fix for this even ?

Not sure if any of this will help but here goes:

Go to settings > Network & Internet > Data usage > under "Mobile" tap on "Billing cycle" > make sure that "Set data limit" is turned off.

You may want to turn off "Set data warning" also. YMMV

I was in contact with my local support and they mentioned that this will be resolved in the next software update.

Crappy Sony software...again. I have a bigger problem can't reconnect data if deactivated I have to restart phone.
