Xperia Actions: Gaming Mode

Hey!

Can someone tell me what this mode will do?

i think that this is simply an app for automating your usage scenarios. you can define location and time and what has to be switched on/off when this is scenario is being detected.

As for gaming: maybe its like this:

If (any game turned on) do what user defined.

probably nothing else.

I'm using it. Downloaded from google.. On my Xperia X. But one thing I noticed, it doesn't work well with all or neither games.. It keeps fluctuating... Don't know why.. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/sony-mobile-communications/

It just works with compatible devices. It's useless to download if not.

Honestly, I tried and used the Xperia Actions. 2 simple flaws, it does not work! I am not sure what it does but whatever it is doing, it is draining my battery twice as fast. For example, turning on the Good Night action, I turned on optimize battery but when I woke up, my battery reduced twice as fast as when I did not on it (My phone is on airplane mode whenever I sleep). Another one is the Gaming mode, I feel like it makes my games more sluggish and I do not really see any performance improvements, I still get stutter and lag in certain games. Even if my gaming experience does not get better, my battery takes a stronger beating.

Since i was able to buy an XZ Premium this june, i was able to test it! However, i'm not facing any kind of that problems!

Have you tried to perform a Software Repair via Xperia Companion?

Yes I did, and even sent it for a repair in Early June. Maybe it is due to the mere 2700mAh battery. But with the Xperia actions off, I am able to last a full day with moderate gaming and intense social media.

The funny thing about all of this is Gaming Mode was the last to be tacked of Xperia Actions automated events, when Xperia Actions stop being part of the Xperia line, Game Mode morphed into "Game Enhancer"

Perhaps all of these scheduling ideas from Xperia Action will be eventually baked in the phone by Google and not by Sony, though I rather have it be a Sony feature. Its just disappoint Sony removes Xperia Actions like they did the 3.5mm jack. It was the wrong move and the end up bringing it back for Xperia 1mkii and Xperia Pro 5G.

Please bring back Xperia Actions. Or all your ideas go to Google.
