Backup and Restore Apk

Hello Guys,

I recently updated to 5.02 from 4.4.4. Everything is fine except that I made my backup via "backup and restore" app on my 4.4.4 Z2. Now the problem is, 5.02 B&R app states that my file is now incompatible.

I have searched Google for any work-around and try downloading few preloaded non-xperia Z2 apks but not working. Also searched this forum but none found.

Can anyone please direct me to a site or a link of the Z2 B&R apk? Or better yet, does anyone know how can retrieve my files back without rooting the phone?

Really need your help guys.

It is true that different firmware will make backup incompatible.

you could try the Z3 backup & restore, it works with the Z.

I did try that beforehand but the app is not working properly.

BTW, thanks for alk your help guys. I was able to fix it by myself. I have a colleague with Z. Transfered my SD card to her phone and restore it from there. Good thing she was still at 4.4.4 back then. Was able to salvage all except the saved apps by using Xperia Transfer to Mobile.
