Can't update to 23.0.F.1.82

Hi,

I wont be able to update my Z3 Dual to the new software update, I keep getting one of these errors:

- "Cant Download Mobile Software, please check internet connectivity". I am sure my internet connectivity is on and I get this alert when the download reaches to 97% of completion

- An error and PC companion asks me to download Sony Update Service Engine, and when I download it, Windows stops installing it giving a red alert that the sertificate of the installed program is corrupt

What should I do? I dont prefer to download the software from a different source then flash it. this means to re-install all apps once again and start from Zero !!!

Me too, I cannot get to install that **bleep** update everytime I update to that firmware after it shuts down the phone to start to update it gives me an error that "There is NO update for Your device" !! What the **bleep** is going on? ;/

The best I can do to help you out is to download the update for you and give you a download link which you will have to use Flashtools to manually flash your phone with the update - If this is something that interests you then I need your model number found is Settings - About phone and your Customization number - By updating this way it could reset your device so backup your device if you want to go down this route

Thanks so much Thommo, but rather I'll wait sony to fix the issue, it's too risky for me to flash it manually, I think dony have a problem with this particular firmware maybe if I wait couple of days and try again

Thanks today i tried once again and its working fine and updating to the latest version 23.0.F.1.82, but things need to know from sony:

1- What is the features added to this version / new firmeware.

2- When Sony will make the update availalbe OTA ?

At last and Finaly! Sony made the update through OTA!! ..the update size is small ..I just updated my Z3 :))

First of all when i'm talking about OTA means that no need to plug my phone to the PC to do the update, just its like IPHONE or Samsung from phone Direct.

Second, when the update coming its good to have what kind of update have (like fix some bugs or enhancement or some features added, etc......)

confirmed rolling in MEA, Saudi Arabia, Brazil. 

23.0.F.1.82 firmware brings improvement in camera ( much faster without lag ), battery improvements, YOTA SIM Support, some users also claiming “Baidu” folder fix ( due to myXperia app ) and other usual bug fixes and performance enhancement.

I finally got the idea phone updated.. I just tried yesterday and it worked.. Seems Sony fixed the issues on the Update Engine or what so ever cool..

Hi there. I'm still on 23.0.F.1.74. No update available. Bought from official distribution for PL/SK/CZ region.
