Charging Xperia Z3 for the first time

So my sister bought me an Xperia Z3 about 2 days ago and it just got drained. Is there any specific hours on how long I should charge my phone for the first time?

You need to charge it until you get the message charged on the screen or in settings-about phone-status.

No,these new Li-Ion batteries do not need any kind of formatting. Just charge it normally and enjoy your device.
