Google Play Service Issue

Hi guys, I bought my z2 2 days ago and the battery was fine until it started draining faster than normal with the same usage. I checked my power information and I saw the google play services was consuming more power (45%) than my screen 19% that was an overnight situation. I tried uninstalling the updates, didn't work. Turned off location, also didn't work. Rebooted, didn't work.

What should I do? Just wait for another update? Or is this just a temporarly issue...?

Its better if you don't auto update, I used to but there are quite a bit of updates, I update them manually every few days

Nope. You shouldn't have to wait. Try clearing the cache. Go to settings, apps, all apps, then click on the app you want and click clear cache. Then restart you phone and charge it completely.

Open the play store then go to settings, is auto update on?

Yes, auto-update is on? What now? BTW I appreciate it that you replied so fast

Hmmm ok, I'll try to fully charge it. I already did clear cache, but it was still the same. Thanks for your reply.

But is it a problem in the phone itself or just google? And will it atleast go away in a few days if nothing helps?

It'll be wise to disable it

Should I disable Google Play Services or the auto-update function? Sorry I'm new to this Face_with_stuck-out_Tongue

But if I disable Google Play Services, should I enable it again later?
