HDR disabled in Z3 Manual camera

I am using my Z3 camera app in Manual mode, and the option to turn on HDR is greyed out. Does anyone know why? Searching didn't yield any known issues.

Change the resolution to 8mp

That did it. I lowered it from 15MP to 8MP, and HDR is enabled.

That's normal, that's how HDR works
