How to copy files from a locked XperiaZ with broken screen

Hi,

I have an Xperia Z, with a cracked screen that is not responding to touch anymore.

Tried to copy files from Phone to PC, but I'm not able to see the sd-card or files.

Tried the PC Companion. It sees the phone, but say's it has to be unlocked. Which is not possible anymore.

I also tried MyPhoneExplorer (which seems to have spyware on board according TrendMicro), but also no success.

Please help, because I need my 1100 pictures....

The Cable is called OTG cable.

U can find it on online shopping side like ebay,flipkart etc.

Also u can purchased it from near mobile shop of available..

The solution with the OTG cable does not work for a Z5. I can access the phone since its on and I use fingerprint to open it. But then it seem that I need to do some changes in USB setup in the phone in order to use the OTG, and that is not possible because of broken screen. Anyone has a tip how to move forward or is this a lost opportunity?

Another try is to back up the phone via PC Companion. But it requirers you to select a choice on the phone (accept to copy files), and this is not possible due to crashed screen or usage of the USB (between phone and pc) and not OTG.

I have the same problem which seems to be unsolveable !!

xperia z5 dropped and screen cracked. Can't use the otg . 

How can I get my texts and pcitures off the phone?

Hi everybody, I have the exact same problem, yesterday I broke my Z3, the screen is black and the touch doesn't work. 

So far I've tried every tip on this forum and hasn't reach anywhere, I still can't access the internal memory and I really need to retrieve all the pictures and videos I have in it.

I even tried downloading the Android ADB Interface and my computer doesn't accept the download.

My phone doesn't have a pin, is not locked, just the swipe, but since I can't swipe it, I can't tap the option required by the sony companion.

Anyone with another tip? I really need your help

If anyone has any problems with the OTG hard reboot the phone with the cable and mouse plugged in it will then pick up the device you have inserted

How do I hard reboot the phone if the touch isn't working? I've got all I need to use the mouse, but it's not picking it up? The courier comes for my phone in two days, and 02 will only replace the phone and everything on it I will lose

Your phone will shutdown if you push the "volume up" and "power" buttons at same time down for few seconds. Then plug in the mouse and it will work (so it did for me, Xperia Z3+).
