IMEI belongs to other phone!!

Hi,

Today I tried checking my IMEI and the results from different websites were same...both my IMEIs belong to Sony Ericsson Spiro W100 phone!!!

I bought my phone from authorized Sony reseller with original pack and I'm sure it's genuine. It's weird!

Any idea what's the story?

I also have the same problem. I use m2 and checked on the web sony japan was not genuine imei. I bought at the official store. please help me, whats wrong with my phone

I was confirmed by Jake that my IMEI does belong to the region I bought it and for Z3.

Would you plz provide a link of "Japan Sony Website" where you checked your IMEI online?

Same here i tried it with sony japan imei checker and my z3 also not a genuine. But i'm thinking that my phone imei must be verify with sony hongkong, since my phone xperia care booklet found inside the box was from hongkong. But i would also appreciate to know my z3 is genuine.

Please, where is this Sony Japan imei checker? I bought mine in China and later flashed HK firmware to get Google Apps. Imei is also printed on the box!
