Not letting me install any apk file

I've updated my phone to lollipop but it doesn't let me install any apk. The install tab isn't working when i proceed for installation!

Hi,

I assume that you have already activated "Unknown sources" via Settings > Security > Unknown sources. Do you know if these applications that you are going to install are compatible with Android Lollipop? If they aren't, it may be the reason why they cannot be installed.

Yes! I've activated that and also made sure that this apk files are compatible then too the same thing is happening

Hi Rakeshroxy,

Do you by chance have any Screen dimming apps on the device? if so try disabling it and then try go through with the installation.

However this could also be regarding a damaged APK.
