possible fix for read error

Just wanted to let people know if you have a phone case and nfc on your phone and keep a card with a chip on it in the case. This could cause read error as I have just found out the vibration and read error that has been driving me mad all day started since I put the card in my phone case the nfc keeps trying to read it but obviously fails causing read error. Hope this may help someone in the future 😄

Ok so that seems about right, I have carried my card in my phone wallet for some while now and forgot I had revcently turned nfc on, read error rolling on the screen and a pretty unresponsive phone. All fixed now, thanks x

Haha in my case it was a library book!  I just rooted my Xperia Z1 Compact yesterday so I worried I'd broken something in the process.  Too funny!

Wow would have never thought of this, I've updated my phone today and couldn't for the life of me work out what this bleeping and read error message was, unticking all notification boxes I could find and after all this thank god I stumbled on this it was indeed my arm card that has a chip so a huge thankyou!!!

I started havind a read error message come up on my sony Z1.

Found this was because i put my new barclays business card into the case with my phone.

Its the wireless technology chip in the card that causes the problem as the phone keeps trying to read the card.

Hope this helps folks.

Well, what about getting that error message when a case/card ISN'T involved? Basically, I've been getting it since I got the phone! What else could b the cause.
