Problem: Notification Sounds and Ringtones

Hi everyone. I have opened a topic about the sound distortion in the beginning of any sound on device. Alexdon[http://talk.sonymobile.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/7878] helped me very much. But i have noticed something different.

I did a factory reset and a clean install the latest update. Whenever I receive a message, call, whatsapp message etc. (or something that causes a notification sound or call sound), the sound freezes a bit or some cracking or lag happens just before starting to play. I tested it both with normal boot and safe boot. Is this a hardware or software problem? I need some Sony Stuff to help here. I have read all Xperia Z1 forums and some people have this problem. And it is on my Xperia Z1 Compact. This is a suberb phone and I need some help. Can I really need to go to Sony Service? or Warranty?

And is there anyone who has this problem?

I have the same problem.

Live wallpapers and overall phone performance became very slow also at firmwares No 681  and 757

Rolled back to android 4.3. due to this problem

Same here I also get the Crackling/stuttering type sound when I get a notification. Everything else is spot on, apart from the sparkles when you swipe to open the lock screen, looks a bit G**. Wold also be nice to have a male and female version of the Air theme with the live wallpaper, always seems to show a pink background when you are showing someone somthing on ya phone

Hello! We do not understand why it's so hard to solve the problem with "stuttering" sound notifications? This is both on 681. and 757. firmware! And the same thing is observed Z1

I had a xperia p before z1 compact. It had a problem after some update and never fixed. I hope sony can hear us now. Because i trusted sony and bought again a sony phone.

Updated my Z1 two days ago, the only bugs I have found are the crackling/stuttering notifications and ringtone, and the wallpaper taking a moment to refresh when unlocking and returning to home. 

The crackling ringtones are an intermittent bug and it does not occur all the time. 

@Rickard Is this an acknowledgement that this is a recognised bug and there is a possibility of another firmware fix?

Currently on latest .757.

Hello! When is the upgrade to the sound problem? "crackling/stuttering notification sound"  

This problem was not in the previous software! (4.3)I just tried it out.
