Style Cover SCR24 for Z3 crash with Lollipop

Hello,

I am getting frustrated with this issue.

I have a sony experia Z3 (D6603) and style cover SCR24 which used to work fine but the cover support app now crashes 100% of time wih Lollipop.

The message I get when closing my cover with the phone on is (in french) l'application "etui-support" s'est malheureusement arrêtée. Which transltes to cover support app unfortunately crashed.

I have seen similar issues in the forum but no solutin works for me.

Can someone from Sony help find a solution?

Try Clearing the SmartConnect app data.

How to clear data on apps.
From your Home screen

1. Tap the Application screen icon.
2. Find and tap Settings > Apps.
3. Swipe to the All tab.
4. Find and tap on the SmartConnect app.
5. Tap Force stop > Clear data.
6. Restart the phone

My post has been moved to this topic but i do not agree. This topic is marked as solved when no proposed solution (and importantly the one that worked for the topic poster) work for me. I think it is fair that this post should appear in a "non solved" topic.

Ok, my topic has been reinstated, above comment is no longer useful.

I have also reset data from smartconnect (although i do not understand the link between SCR24 & smartconnec) and it does not work either.

nope it did not.

Have you gone to the bluetooth, under settings and tried to manually unpair and pair the device again?

Phy, style cover is not paired via bluetooth. It is activated by NFC (one touch).
