Unable to place calls

Sorry, I am so distress that I feel like crying. I just got my phone on 4th April. Initiall, I have no problem receiving calls and calling out. All of a sudden, I am not able to call out. However, I am able to receive calls. What am I going to do? Can someone please please help me? T^T

Could you please elaborate? What happens when you try to place a call? Is it to a specific number or similar that you cannot call? Have you tried to just restart your phone?

Hello, thanks for responding. Nothing happens when I try to call. It is just "Calling.." and then call fails. I tried calling my home number and friends. They said that did not receive any calls from me. I restarted my phone twice to no avail. Recently I have accidentally dropped my phone from thigh height and landed directly on the screen. Everything is fine and I tried calling out after the drop and it works. So, I really do not know why it just suddenly doesnt work.

Have you tried turning airplane mode on and off again.  Or turning the phone off and on? Can you receive calls?  Have you tried the sim card in another phone? if that doesn't work maybe it's your phone networks fault.  How long has it been faulty? Have you tried using the phone in different locations?

Have tried turning both phone and airplane mode on and off. I can receive calls. I am able to call out using WhatsApp call function. Tried using phone in different locations too. Before dropping my phone, I am able to call out. It is approx. 6 days ago I dropped my phobe. After dropping my phone, I tried calling out once to test if it is fine. And it is successful. After that, I didnt call out to anyone until today. Then, I realise there is a problem with my phone.

Maybe a stupid question but have you paid your bill and or got credit for your network - I have seen and read this type of thing here on the forum

Yes try the airplane mode off and on trick.

 If this doesn't work try rebooting your device in safe mode.

Press and hold power botton > press and hold Power Off  a message will appear "Reboot in safe mode" press Ok then try making a call. Then just restart your device and i will come back normall. 

If this doesn't work then try 

1. Power off your device. Then take out the sim (try cleaning the sim)  and leaving the device powerd off wirhout a inserted sim for about 20 mins.then put the sim inside and power on and then try making a call.

2. If nothing works,  try downloading PC companion on your computer or laptop and do a software repair

Cool question thommo xD unfortunately i think its not the problem.  when you dont pay a bill or you have no credit there is normally a person telling you "unfortunately you can not make a call.... Bla bla bla"

Omg,thank you guys so much. Apparently, there is a mass breakdown of mobile network from my local telco. I didnt have time to read the news until much later.
