The only thing i can suggest is to contact them & ask for a specific reason why they did not do the test, for example did they not have the neccessary equipment to do the test, & note your concerns as mentioned here. Ask if they do send it to Sony to let them inspect your phone if they will mention that they stripped the phone first.........the reason i asked about cracked glass was that they would not do the test if there was apparent damage already....
So get in touch with them & good luck :smileysmileythumbsup:

Hi, recently my xperia z1 compact leaked some watter (all flaps were sealed) and my power button stopped working correctly. I took my phone to have the warranty covered, but instead of taking the vacuum test, like I read in some topics here, they opened the phone and returned it back to me for "inproper use". after complaining they accepted to take a second look and show it to sonymobile, but I am worried since they already opened the phon. That the vacuum test won't be legit anymore. What should I do?
Hi, if they opened the phone up to check for damage WITHOUT doing the Vacuum Test first then you are correct.......it would be near impossible to determine if it would have failed the test
Did they actually say that they did not do the test.......was there any damage to the handset for example a cracked screen front or back when you gave it to them, i would want to know why they did not do the test........not good
