WhatsApp Web connection on Lollipop in stand-by

Hello,

After Lollipop upgrade when i try to use WhatsApp Web aplication i have problems in connecting web aplication to mobile in order to start conversations

I receive the message that the mobile does not have an internet connection...which is totally wrong....i have always mobile data ON....I never use STAMINA or any other battery saver applications

It's working only if i wake up the phone from standby and use either whatsapp or google play

I did also several repairs using PCC

I contacted WhatsApp support and they instructed me to uninstall and reinstall the application...did that....nothing changed

My phone is Z3c D5803 with latest software 23.1.A.1.28

On kitkat everything worked normal

Any ideeas how to solve this?

Hi

Now seems the issue is solved...

I performed the same procedure for several times and it's working....whithout changing proxy and port because i could not

What was new NOW compared with earlier this morning is that 1 or 2 hours ago i received last version of google play ...from 5.5.12 to 5.6.8 which is the last one

With this update of google play, other strange behaviour seems that is fixed like: ordering installation of an play store app from laptop is now instant...before i had to wait some minutes....

I will keep you updated

I reseted all APN's and downloaded again from carrier 

Till now seems that works fine

I will come back in few days to see if problem is fixed forever

I have never used WhatsApp or the web access for it, so I might not be much for help here. But since you have installed new APN settings, could you check if you have a Proxy/Port set for the APN? If yes, try to delete them and see if same thing happens.

Otherwise, have you tried different connections? Such as Wi-Fi connection?

I have a proxy and port but seems that internet APN it's not editable as you can see below
