I can answer the first question,the major difference is that the dual version supports two SIM cards.

as for Z3 Dual, it support 2 SIM cards, the rest its the same as the Z3
That's an odd question, users should know which variant of their phone they bought.
I have the dual sim version, and well, the main difference is, well, that it supports dual sims.
I've noted though the firmware updates are not as frequent as with the single sim version.
Apart from that, its pretty much the same as the single sim version.
But the dual sim implementation isn't as good as other dual sim phones. One annoyance I have is that the dialer app won't let you auto assign a caller to a specific sim, you have to choose the sim you want to call from every time.
