Just bought this (new old stock) because it has OTG, MHL and Miracast.
Running Nougat 7.1.1 (and tells me no new version is available).
Xperia software is = 32.4.A.1.54
I followed the usual set up proceedure and all appeared to go well.
However, I then discovered the on attempting to turn NFC on, it seems to try for a few seconds, and then goes off again.
I tried it in SafeMode and got the same.
I went into = settings - support - Xperia tests and tried to run the test for the NFC. It tells me it too cannot turn the NFC on.
I then even did a full factory re-set, but even after that, it will not turn on.
I have now spent the best part of a day setting up this phone, only to find this issue.
I really need the NFC for making shop payments.
Can you tell me what might be the problem please.
