Z1 Yellow Spot Issue

I got this problem on top left side of the display. I first used chrome and the display is fine then open walkman and went back to chrome when i noticed a slight(like backlight leak) orange-yellow tint.

I did gave my z1 a wash the night before but didnt face any issue.

It becomes yellow on white background only but has no colour effect on other coloured background(including black)

Like it appeared all in a sudden?

I read that xperia s did encounter something like this,some said it was a glue sticking the display that leak and it evaporated after a few days.

The phone did became quite warm just before the yellow spot appeared so there's still chance of the glue issue?

Hard to tell, you need to get it open to figure out the issue, if you DIY you will voifd the warranty

Yes thanks for reminding. But as far as i concern,even water damage also void the warranty?

Then the warranty would be useless! Hahaha

Gonna wait for two weeks and hope it will byebye yellow spot.

(It happened to my Xperia SP and it goes away too(but soon it become a side backlight leak :'/ )

If the flaps are faulty or the housing then it'll be covered

Guys!!!!
I'd done a Stability Test on Antutu two times to deliberately increase the temperature to 50celcius and guess what?!

The yellow tint fades around 80% !!!!

Still got the yellow spot but barely visible(unless you got eyes like me)
