Hi infotech.jalal,

Is the wireless adaptor present in Device Manager and if so are there any error messages or unknown devices listed?

Hi infotech.jalal,

It would be possibly be better if someone running Widows 7 OS with a similar model offered help as I am still on Vista.

Let us know your model number, but in the meantime a few suggestions for you to try/investigate:

Check that the wireless adaptor is enabled in Network Connections.

If your model has Vaio Smart Network software make sure that WLAN is enabled and set to 2.4GHz only.

Check that you have not inadvertently moved the wireless switch to the off position.

Try running the Intel Manual Diagnostics Tool (assuming that this is installed)

You could try uninstalling the wireless device driver and then reinstall.
